December has been a busy month for us. I started working at Target (Seasonal) in mid November and with the holiday rush, I was working 32+hrs (nights and weekends). Needless to say I didn't see much of Billy or Caleb at the same time. Caleb was napping when I left for work in the afternoons and would obviously be asleep when I got home. Of course that meant Billy and the dogs were asleep as well! We adjusted and made it work knowing it would slow down after the first of the year. With me working in retail and Billy being on call, that meant this year we would remain home at Christmas and New Years. I missed seeing my side of the family this year but am thankful that Billy was not called out so Christmas was not a total loss. We spent Christmas morning with My parents, then headed to Gulf Breeze to see the Wheelers/Sanders/Shirahs. We were again showered with wonderful presents this year from everyone! Caleb has more toys than he knows what to do with......which means we have no room for Birthday toys. :)I have since been hired on at Target as a regular employee and not seasonal! What a relief! We are certainly thankful for the extra help with some bills! 2010 is looking good so far!
